1) Find out her sizes. It's best if you can tell us her bra size, her dress size and her pant size. Even if you don't plan to get her a bra and panty set, the sizes can help us figure out what styles will be the most flattering on her body type. You can also ask us if she's done a registry with us; then we can look it up and suggest particular designers or collections she's admired.

2) Camisoles, soft bras and chemises are pretty and practical. These pieces are usually sized small through extra large, and are easier to fit than a bra and panty set. If the size, fit or style is not exactly right for the bride, she can come in and exchange the gift. We can include a gift receipt in the box, or let you hold onto it.

3) Take a chance - or play it safe! Lingerie-themed bridal showers and bachelorette parties have become very popular, which means the lucky bride may receive a nicely varied trousseau. This gives you the option of choosing to give a traditional, white and lacy chemise, a set of brightly colored comfortable pajamas, something black and sexy for the honeymoon, or anything in between!

4) It is the though that counts. If you're the maid of honor and the bride's been your best friend for years, you can probably easily find a gift that will thrill her!
