The Fitting Room If you're not sure of your size, we highly recommend you get fitted by an expert. Bra fitting can be challenging because every body is a different shape. Women often find that they wear different sizes in different styles of bras, and that some styles don't work for them at all. The passage of time and weight changes (even as little as five pounds) can affect your size. But don't be discouraged – there are lots of gorgeous options out there for you, if you can make the time to find them. When you're wearing a great bra that fits right, you'll look and feel your best! Tips for Ensuring the Right Fit If you're unsure of your size, take a few different sizes of the same bra into the fitting room. The cups should fit flush to your breasts, making a smooth rounded shape. The band of the bra should be parallel to the floor. If the band is higher on your back than your front, your straps may be too tight, but probably your band size is too big. Try lengthening the straps, and if that doesn't work, go down a band size. For example, if the bra was a 36C, try a 34D. Remember, when the band size increases by 2" the cup size increases by one cup size, so that a 34D and a 36C are actually the same cup size. When you have a bra that seems to fit, lift your arms and move a little bit – your bra should stay put.
